December 21st was the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year (for us northern hemisphere folks).

This time around the sun saw a rare convergence of the planets Saturn and Jupiter lined up in the dark sky to create a bright beacon of light on the horizon – a modern day “Christmas Star”.

Like many, I am hoping that this beacon of light is a good sign for a new beginning after the challenges of 2020.

After all, 2021 is the start of a new cycle.

There won’t be another “Christmas Star” this bright until 2080.
